Iowa Talking Points — Brenna Bird, Republican Candidate, Attorney General

Brenna Bird is Iowa's Attorney General, first elected in 2022 when she unseated longtime incumbent Tom Miller. Known for her close ties to the Trump administration and her aggressive litigation posture on conservative priorities, Bird opted to seek reelection as Attorney General rather than enter the governor's race, positioning herself as a defender of law enforcement, crime victims, and constitutional rights.

On the show, Bird discussed her first term in office, including her record on public safety and victims' rights, and made the case that Iowans should reelect her to prevent what she describes as a "radical, progressive Democrat" from taking control of the office. She also touched on her working relationship with the Trump administration and her priorities for a second term. Brenna Bird joined Jeff Stein at Iowa Talking Points Studio to discuss her record and her campaign for reelection.
